- Level Replacement
- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
- This file is meant to replace the final GDI mission. It does work when
- used with other missions, but has been designed especially for this
- mission.
-
- Mission Description
- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
- The Brotherhood has taken over a small German village. This village has
- been split by the Berlin Wall back in the 60s. They destroyed it almost
- completely and they built their base on a piece of land protected by the
- wall. Spies told us that it is the largest Nod base ever seen with quite
- an amount of Obelisks :(
- We have developed a new mobile radar truck. We want to test it in this area
- so you are given two of them. You don't function really good yet so they
- are no good for you. Just try to keep them all alive!!!!! Otherwise you'll
- regret :)
-
- Level Description
- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
- You start with a couple of units. Find the leftovers of a former GDI base
- somewhere in the northern regions of the map. Reinforcements will arrive
- as soon as you're there.
- Your primary task is to keep the radar trucks in one piece. There is no
- other way to do that than to destroy Nod completely.
- So Commander, kick some ass :)
-
- Usage
- =-=-=
- For those who don't want to bother messing around editing files, a savegame
- has been supplied that was taken the instant the level started. Simply copy
- this file (savegame.051) into your Command and Conquer directory (rename it
- if you don't want to lose one of your savegames). Then simply load that file
- when you start. You will not be able to restart the mission if you do this,
- you will have to re-load it if you have to try again. If you choose this
- method, you can ignore the next part.
-
- You can also patch the general.mix file if you have C&C running from your
- harddisk some way. Use mixman to replace the files scg15eb.ini and
- scg15eb.map with the new files. Then start C&C and work your way up to
- mission 15. Then choose restart from the options menu and presto: the new
- level will start.
-
- I also supplied a mission.ini file. It contains a short briefing of your
- mission. Just copy it into your C&C directory. Choose restate from the
- options menu to read the briefing.
-
- Other Information
- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
- Note: on some slower computers gameplay might get a little slow sometimes
- (not always) due to the number of units onscreen ;)
-
- I did not use a LOSE trigger. So if all your units and structures are
- destroyed, you won't get the 'mission failed' message. I did this by
- purpose so you can really enjoy some massive explosions IF your
- radar trucks are destroyed :)))))))))))
- Just try again......
-
- This is my 2nd level for C&C and I'm really getting the hang of it now.
- I think I made some improvements compared to the Bionic Men. I hope
- there are no stupid leaks in the defence that offer you free entrance to
- the enemy base. Well, I guess you should take a look yourself now.
-
- And again, you are welcome to send me e-mail with your thoughts and
- comments :)
- If you do, please make the subject 'GDI mission'.
-
-
- Enjoy.
